Recipe by Daniel Myers
This batter adds a nice flavor to the chicken, but it will still go well if served with a sauce. If served without a sauce then more spice can be added to increase the flavor.
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts, skinless
6 egg yolks
2 - 3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
pinch saffron
Method
Bake chicken at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven to cool. Mix remaining ingredients to form a thick batter. Slice chicken into large pieces and place on skewers. Coat with batter and broil until coating is just turning golden. Be sure to turn the chicken over halfway through broiling.
